Mouthwatering Bowl of Chota Aloor Dom

Chota Aloor Dom is one of the delicious side dish in West Bengal,specially Kolkata. It is a side dish.It goes well with Luchi,Paratha and Roti. You can serve this along with friends,family etc. 
Here I have described how to prepare Chota Aloor Dom.



Ingredients-
1.Chota aloo-250 gram
2.Cumin seeds-1.5 tea spoon
3.Tomato with finely Chopped-1 piece
4.Salt as required
5.Tumeric Powder as required
6.Sugar as required
7.Onion -2 pieces
8.Garlic paste-2 spoon
9.Ginger paste-2 table spoon
10.Cumin seed powder-1 tea spoon
11.Red chilli powder as required
12.Capcicum-half
13.Coriander leaves as required
15.Garam masala-2 table spoon
16.Oil

How to make-
Step 1- Wash and clean all the potatos
Step 2- Take a pressure cooker and some water on the pressure cooker,then add the potato to the pressure cooker...After 2 whistles I switch the oven and allow to cool.
Step 3- Then open to the pressure cooker.
Step 4- Then Drain the water from the pressure cooker and Peeled the potato from skin. and keep it on a different bowl. 
Step 5- Then add the oil onto the kadai.
Step 6- When oil is hot and smoke, then add bay leaf and whole cumin seeds and stir it for a second..
Step 7-Next add finely sliced onion into the oil.Fry it till golden brown colour. Then add green capsicum pieces into the oil and fry it for 5 minutes.
Step 8- Then add salt to taste and ripe tomato pieces. Mix it very well.
Step 9- Now add tumric powder into the potatoes and mix it well.
Step 10- Then add sugar,chilli powder,cumin powder,corinder powder,ginger and garlic paste and mix it very well.
Step 11-Then you need to add finely chopped coriander leaves and garam masala powder and mix it very well..
Step 12-Saute for all spices until oil is separates from the spices
Step 13-Then add 2 cups water into the spices and chota alooo. then mix it very well and cook for 15 to 20 minutes
Step 14- After  preparation switch off the flame
Step 15- Transfer the Aloor Dom to a serving bowl...
