Chanar Dalna

                               Delicious Dish of Chanar Dalna

Chanar Dalna is a very popular side dish in West Bengal.Many people likes it so much. Chanar Dalna can be served with rice, parota, luchi, roti. Here I have written how to make chana and then chanar dalna.




Ingredients-


For Making Chana-
  • Full Cream Milk 2 litres
  •  4 table spoon lemon juice

For Making Chanar Dalna-
  • 2 litres milk
  • Tomato 2 pieces
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Ghee 1/2 table spoon
  • Refined oil
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Garam Masala
  • Chili Powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Cumin Powder
  • Cumin Seed
  • Cashew Paste
  • Potato
  • Dried Red Chili


Instruction-

How to make Chana-
At first you have to boil creamed milk till bubbles comes from the milk.Then you need to add lemon juice on the boiled milk.Then you need stir the boiled milk with a spoon.Then chana is prepared.
Then cut channa into small round pieces.


How to make Chanar Dalna-
  • At first you need to cut potatoes into small pieces and chop tomatoes roughly.
  • Then you need to make paste of ginger, then you add cumin powder of that paste and mix it properly.
  • After that you mix turmeric powder and red chili powder with a little water and make it paste.
  • Then you take some refined oil in a pan and heat it properly,then you need to start frying chopped potatoes till those turn brown colour. Then you keep those potatoes in a separate bowl.
  • Then you need to fry chana pieces in the same oil.Pieces of chana should turn brown after frying it.Then separates off fried chana from the refined oil.
  • Then fries dried red chili and cumin seed for 2 minutes,after that you need to add chopped tomatoes and cook it around 3-4 minutes in low flame.
  • Then you make ginger and cumin powder's paste with the help of mixer grinder.
                                     Then you add ginger cumin paste and turmeric red chili powder paste in a pan into a little oil and cook it for 3 minutes.
  • Then add salt and sugar and water to the mixture and cook.
  • After that you have to add some water,fried potatoes and fried chana to the mixture and mix properly with a ladle.
  • Then cook for 8-10 minutes
  • After that you need to add garam masala powder and some ghee to the gravy and mix it properly.
  • After some time you off the flame.Your chanar dalna is ready.
  • Chanar Dalna can be served with rice, polao, roti, luchi, parotha etc...Chanar Dalna ❤❤❤❤
